Clipband currently represents in Romania, a solution for packaging bakery and pastry products.
However, it can be a SMART solution for closing the packaging of fresh fruits and vegetables, various mixes, teas and coffee, as well as other products from various industries.
Packaging recommendations
For closing preformed bags with the help of manual or automatic clipping machines for the packaging of fruits, fresh vegetables, greens or oilseeds with a large weight or in the case of a more robust packaging, it is advisable to use a 0.7 mm clipband, available in a roll of 500 m. The clip is reusable and can withstand a minimum of 10 closures / openings.
In the case of packaging products with a lower weight (garlic, radish), it is recommended to use the 0.6 mm clipband, available in rolls of 500 m or boxes of 500 pre-cut pieces. The 0.6 mm clipband is reusable and has a resistance to a minimum of 9 closures / openings.
The clipband for closing packages (roll or pre-cut) is made of plastic – polypropylene and is reinforced on the edges with two metal inserts. The roll clip allows the date (production / expiration) and batch to be written in ink, using alphanumeric characters, on a printable surface of 5 × 18 mm, together with the operation of closing the clip by means of clipping machines.

Clipband production does not have high production costs, which leads to an insignificant cost per closure, thus resulting in an efficient solution for packaging with clipband of a diverse range of products.
